Neil was originally an electro-mechanical engineer, but moved into compliance in the early 90s. Neil is a certified Data Protection Officer and IT Security Manager, and has supported both local and national government on data compliance issues, along with very large charities in data and IT security compliance at enterprise level. During his local government work, Neil was directly responsible for the compliance of over 130 schools, which gave him an understanding of part of the education sector.
