Inspiring Choices Conference 2021

Michelle received her Bachelor of Nursing honors degree from the University of Birmingham and has worked as a paediatric nephrology nurse for the last 21 years.  As a Clinical Nurse Specialist and nurse prescriber, Michelle is a passionate advocate for paediatric PD and she has run the home Peritoneal Dialysis Service at Great Ormond Street Hospital for more than 14 years.  She was the nurse representative on the latest International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) paediatric prevention of peritonitis guidelines, has co-authored peer-reviewed publications in the field of paediatric PD and she recently contributed a chapter to the published book ‘Remote Patient Management in Peritoneal Dialysis’.
