What is Clearing and how can you prepare?

This session will guide you on how to advise and prepare applicants to use Clearing, so they are informed and confident in their options on how to either confirm or change their university choices using the UCAS system’s. We’ll discuss how advisers and counsellors can help and what actions students need to take.

• state the key dates for Confirmation and Clearing
• explain how what UCAS systems are available to applicants such as Clearing, Clearing Plus and Decline my place.
• identify ways to support applicants in using Clearing successfully

This workshop will most benefit those with an introductory and intermediate level of knowledge. However, all are welcome gain insight and best practice ideas.
