At Bloomberg in the UK, we offer various apprenticeships that enable trainees to gain hands-on job experience and learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry, while simultaneously advancing their studies. Targeted at school leavers, young professionals as well as those seeking a career change, our program is designed to bridge the gap between the British education system and the ever-changing job market. We run apprenticeships of various lengths and levels across most of our business functions — including Global Data, Financial Products, Engineering, Operations, Media and News, Corporate Functions and External Relations — so there’s just about something for everyone. When you start, you’ll be connected with a buddy and a mentor who’ll help you navigate life at Bloomberg and support you as you pursue your new career. Regular check-ins will ensure you’re happy and on track to reach your true potential. When you successfully complete your initial qualification, there will be the opportunity to participate in a higher-level apprenticeship or transition to a full-time role at Bloomberg. Apprentices are also granted access to Bloomberg’s corporate discounts to museums, events, and restaurant discounts. We also encourage employees to take advantage of the variety of free snacks, drinks, and coffee in the Bloomberg Pantry – there’s always something delicious to enjoy!
