I aim to specialize in sports pharmacy, focusing on supplements, performance enhancement, and injury recovery. My goal is to educate people on safe and effective medication and supplementation while promoting a balanced lifestyle. Additionally, I plan to continue my fitness journey, possibly pursuing certifications in nutrition or personal training to provide well-rounded health advice. By combining both fields, I hope to contribute to the healthcare industry in a way that supports both medical well-being and physical performance.

    Hi I’m Ellie and I’m a Second Year Pharmacy student. I will be at Lincoln for 3 more years and plan on becoming a pharmacist when I graduate. I did A Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ and I am very familiar with the clearing process due to my A levels not going as expected so feel free to ask questions around this subject too! Clearing felt very daunting at first when things didn’t go as planned on results day, but the process was actually really easy and ended up finding the university that’s best for me. Everything was so quick and it really helped me to settle into university lifestyle. So yeah, any questions you have about this I’m happy to answer :)

    Hello! My name is Safa and I’m a commuter student studying Pharmacy with preparatory year, wanting to pursue hospital pharmacy in the future. My academic journey has not always been easy, especially because of COVID, when studying became particularly challenging. However, the experience pushed me to work harder than ever and has shaped me to become the person I am today. My love for biological and chemical sciences since childhood, coupled with my dream to work in the healthcare industry lead me to studying chemistry, biology and psychology for A-levels and eventually taking on a volunteering role at a pharmacy for a week, which significantly influenced my decision to pursue pharmacy.     My long-term career plans? Well, let’s just say I’m aiming for somewhere between a lab genius discovering the next big breakthrough and a science communicator who makes pharmacology sound cooler than it is (and trust me, it’s pretty cool). I am passionate about science and how it can change lives in such meaningful ways and my end goal is to make medicine a bit more accessible than it is today. Outside of academics, you’ll probably find me on the basketball court or volunteering—I love working with kids and finding ways to make learning fun for them (yes, teaching can be fun!). I also juggle a few roles like being a Class Rep and basketball convener so I’m pretty familiar with what it takes to balance the chaos of uni life. Spoiler: it’s a lot of caffeine and a lot of to-do lists.
