Hi! I'm a second year undergraduate studying Integrated Natural Sciences at the University of Warwick. When I'm not in classes I enjoy drawing and watercolour painting, as well as crafts and cooking an occasionally good meal. I was born and raised in Nigeria and joined UWE early 2023. I will admit I waited till the last minute to decide to pursue software engineering as a degree, but I do believe I made the right decision. My passion for coding and software development is growing by the day and I cannot wait to apply my abilities in the real world. That’s not to say I don’t suffer from imposter syndrome occasionally, but I do think being in the right environment has really helped change my mindset and attitude.

Hi, my name is Aimée and I come from Switzerland. I am a third year Zoology student with an interest genetics, and using it to conserve the species of our planet. I chose to study at Lancaster after falling in love with the campus on an open day. I am currently on my placement year working in the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland's WildGenes genetics laboratory. At university one of my favourite things to do is discover new coffee shops around Lancaster with my friends. Besides this I can usually be found in Waterstones buying yet another book or at home playing my latest Nintendo Switch obsession!

Hey, I’m Belén!
I’m originally from Spain and completed my Foundation Diploma in Paris in 2022. Currently, I’m a Textile Design student at Chelsea College of Arts, taking a sandwich year to complete a Diploma in Creative Computing at the UAL Creative Computing Institute before starting my third year. During my second year, I had the opportunity to go on exchange (back to Paris! 😊) and have also taken part in other exciting international opportunities through UAL. 

As an international student, I understand both the excitement and challenges of moving to a new country for university. From adapting to a new culture to navigating student life in London, I’ve learned a lot along the way. UAL has a welcoming and diverse community, and there are so many opportunities to connect with people from all over the world. If you’re feeling unsure about studying abroad or settling into London, I’d be happy to share my experiences and tips!

I have a strong interest in the intersection of textiles, technology, and human behavior. My work explores how computational design, weave, and interactive systems can shape our perception of materials and environments. I’m also passionate about sustainability, design innovation, and the role of craft in a digital world.
