I am a second-year Mathematics and Statistics student at the University of Warwick, an international student from China. I am currently preparing for my master’s applications and aim to pursue a career in data-related fields. Therefore, I have focused on courses in data analysis, statistical modeling, and computational methods to strengthen my mathematical and statistical foundation while enhancing my data processing and application skills. As an international student, I have adapted to a multicultural learning environment and broadened my perspective through cross-cultural interactions, which also gives me an advantage in teamwork and academic research in diverse settings.

Hi, I am Hajar. Currently, I am studying Economics at City and I am finding it very interesting! I was born and raised in London, so it is great to attend a university that isn't too far from home. I am a WP, Marketing and Brand ambassador which allows me to meet a lot of students from different backgrounds. I have joined the ISOC society last year, which allowed me to take part in the charity week, it was so rewarding to be able to take part in helping people.

Hi! I’m Hannah, a first-year student studying Neural Engineering with Psychology. My degree isn’t one that’s very well known but I love it. It combines Psychology, Engineering and Computer Science. In my next couple of years, I will cover areas like working with prosthetics, AI and brain computer-interfaces. If that sounds like your sort of thing, then definitely go check it out and feel free to ask me any questions about my experience so far. I mostly work in the CSEE department so I can answer questions about other courses as well.  As this is my first year, I remember very well how stressful looking for the right university and course can be. I’d like to make your experience easier in anyway I can. Remember, university might seem a bit scary but its also such a great opportunity to be independent and there will always be people happy to support you. Outside of university I like to play video games and I’m trying to get back into the gym. Ask me any questions you have, big or small, and I will try my best to answer them.

I chose to come to Glasgow because of the flexibility they offered with their degree plans; I initially enrolled in a Psychology degree, but have since changed my degree to Chemistry!
