Hello, I’m Shiam Rahman, and I’m currently studying Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Brunel University. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by electronic devices and how they work. Electrical engineering is like the "black magic" of engineering—it’s all happening behind the scenes, and yet, every little interaction, like the click of a button, is the result of someone’s design and innovation. I’m excited to dive deeper into how these systems work and, one day, be part of the tech industry that shapes our future. Beyond engineering, I have a strong passion for art and design. I love drawing and painting people, and I also have skills in graphic design, image manipulation, and animation. My creative side really complements my technical interests, and I enjoy finding ways to blend the two. At Brunel, I also work as a Student Recruitment and Widening Access Ambassador. It’s such a rewarding experience, and I love being part of a community that is all about supporting each other. Hi, I’m Susanna I’m in my 2nd year at City studying Sociology & Criminology, I really enjoy this course. Criminology, with its focus on crime, law, and justice, has been a particular passion of mine. I’ve delved into the psychological and sociological factors that contribute to criminal behavior, as well as the societal responses to crime. My research often intersects with issues of social justice, exploring how policies and practices in the criminal justice system impact different communities. Outside of academia, I’m deeply engaged in activities that enrich my understanding of the world around me. I enjoy volunteering with organizations focused on criminal justice reform, where I can see firsthand the real-world implications of the theories I study. This hands-on experience is something I believe is crucial for anyone interested in this field.

Hey, I’m Belén! I’m originally from Spain and completed my Foundation Diploma in Paris in 2022. Currently, I’m a Textile Design student at Chelsea College of Arts, taking a sandwich year to complete a Diploma in Creative Computing at the UAL Creative Computing Institute before starting my third year. During my second year, I had the opportunity to go on exchange (back to Paris! 😊) and have also taken part in other exciting international opportunities through UAL. As an international student, I understand both the excitement and challenges of moving to a new country for university. From adapting to a new culture to navigating student life in London, I’ve learned a lot along the way.
