Literature and Creative Writing

3rd year English Literature student currently finishing my studies at UEA and set to begin  my MA in Archiving at UCL next year. Working towards a career in Archiving and Record Preservation. 
Particularly interests in Critical Theory and philosophy. Passionate about exploring the intersections between literature, politics, music, visual art and our collective histories. The written word is not dead or static but full of life which it gives to us, which is why I feel the study of Literature is so significant.
I also enjoy creative writing as a way of developing my passion for reading, and enjoying an appreciation for my favourite books which is interactive and participatory.
In my spare time I boulder at Rock Punk Climbing Cafe, located on Magdalen Street in Norwich, and Highball Climbing Centre, just a bus ride away from the City Centre. I love the element of problem solving involved in completing difficult routes and  advancing towards harder challenges with a renewed set of physical and mental skills.
I also find that Climbing is a sport that has helped me immensely around difficulties stemming from complete blindness in my left eye, such as strengthening depth perception and hand eye coordination. It is something I'd recommend very highly to anyone with impaired eye-sight (and everyone else too!)
I am also well acquainted with the DSA process by virtue of my blindness so please do message me if you're curious or facing any troubles with regard to disability allowance and support!
I have also skateboarded for a number of years and enjoy a street skate sesh or a trip to Eaton Park whenever I can :)

Hi! I’m Benjamin, and I’m currently studying BA (Hons) Architectural Design and Technology at Southampton Solent University.
I’m passionate about design, urban planning, and how architecture shapes our daily lives. I decided to study architecture because I’ve always been fascinated by buildings, spaces, and the way environments can influence people’s experiences. The creative and technical aspects of the field draw me in, and I love the challenge of merging functionality with aesthetics. At Solent, I’m exploring everything from architectural theory to hands-on design projects. We get to work with both traditional and digital tools, and the program offers a great balance of studio work and technical learning. So far, I’ve worked on some exciting projects. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about my course area or Solent generally.

I'm a postgraduate law student, doing my International Law LLM at University of Glasgow, I have also got my Common Law LLB degree last June from the same university, so I have been here for a long time :)) I am hoping to specialise in women's rights and gender equality. I'm from Turkey and this is my fifth year in Glasgow and in UofG :) 

I have been dancing and acting since I was a kid. So, I have been very involved in performing arts for so many years and I am super lucky to be still doing that in university. I loveeeee meeting new people, attending social events, spending time with my friends, and always finding something fun to do in Glasgow with my loved ones (as a wee Covid fresher in my undergrad, I am happy that I am finally having a normal freshers week for my postgrad)!! Hi my name is Beth! I am second year veterinary medicine student. I have a lot of ideas for my future as a qualified vet and I have not yet decided which path I want to take. I would love to work with various charities in different countries around the world, but i also love the idea of working in a mixed practice with both farm and small animals. I have also become more interested in the idea of working in emergency practice or end of life care.

I like staying active in various ways, I love climbing and football and have also learned to scuba dive with the society and university. I love walking by dogs and hanging out with friends on the weekend for a coffee or a few drinks at the pub!
