Hi! I'm Crystal, a second-year MSci Computer Science and Mathematics student with a special interest in Data Science and ML. 

When I started university, I wasn’t entirely sure about my future career path. However, through various opportunities at university, I’ve developed a strong passion for data science and I now feel much more confident about the direction I want to take in my career.

Often spotted around campus carrying badminton rackets because nothing beats badminton after a long day for stress-relief... On my off days I explore places nearby Lancaster, play games with my friends and try out new recipes. Whenever I get homesick, I make Malaysian chicken curry (and it's perfect for winter).

I started off in Warwick's IFP program and progressed onto my undergraduate degree studying Design & Global Sustainable Development. It's a great course that balances innovation and systematic design with sustainability.

I am currently in my penultimate year of the Physics with Astrophysics MSci program at the University of Glasgow. Additionally, I served as a class representative for both Physics 2 and Physics 3, which helped me gain confidence in representing others—something I am passionate about and plan to continue in the future. I also occasionally participate in debates at the GU Union and am active on social media, particularly regarding political issues. Hi! I’m 2nd year studying a joint honours in Management and Philosophy, having changed from a senior honours in Economics! I have taken modules in Business Law, Entrepreneurship , Marketing, HR, Finance, Maths, Economics, Operations etc. I volunteer with scouts and am in the Army OTC! I also am a part of Hare and Hounds, Tennis, Tri and Mountaineering. I am Treasurer of the Walking Club, VP of the Business Soc and Captain of the Orienteering and Fell Running Club. Happy, thoughtful, mad and passionate would be the 4 words to describe me!  I am also a proud NGO secretary which has led me to speak as a delegate at 2 UN Commissions.
