Hi! I'm currently an archaeology PhD student. I have previously completed my MSc and Ba with Uwtsd so I'm currently in my 5th year at the university. I have wanted to be an archaeologist for many years and hope to work as an Environmental archaeologist in the future.  My passions outside the classroom include netball, acting and playing saxophone. I love to keep active and cook amazing meals for next to nothing. If anyone ever needs a chat or anything i am always happy to listen, and don't worry i'm easy to find! Hello, I am Sharon, I am currently a first-year student studying at Trevelyan college.

For my A Levels I chose politics, English literature and sociology, and now I study the Combined Honours in Social Sciences course. As part of this course, I mainly study politics and sociology but I also do a module in criminology and international relations.

I'm still not certain what I want to do in life but I am considering political journalism, civil service or possibly law.

I’m Shiam Rahman, and I’m currently studying Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Brunel University.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by electronic devices and how they work. Electrical engineering is like the "black magic" of engineering—it’s all happening behind the scenes, and yet, every little interaction, like the click of a button, is the result of someone’s design and innovation. I’m excited to dive deeper into how these systems work and, one day, be part of the tech industry that shapes our future.

Beyond engineering, I have a strong passion for art and design. I love drawing and painting people, and I also have skills in graphic design, image manipulation, and animation. My creative side really complements my technical interests, and I enjoy finding ways to blend the two.

At Brunel, I also work as a Student Recruitment and Widening Access Ambassador. It’s such a rewarding experience, and I love being part of a community that is all about supporting each other.
