Hi I am Chloe. I am in my final year of degree. I currently study Health and Social Care. I chose this course as I enjoyed it at A Level. 

I have volunteered and worked through out my university career. University has given me many prospects and opportunities to further my skills and confidence. 
I have varies hobbies from arts and crafts to sports. I am part of a few groups at University, such as trampolining, ultimate frisbee and boxing. 

I am here to help with any queries or questions regarding the university experience as whole from writing a university application, chosen a course to opportunities and student life. Hello! I'm Dave a 33 year old mature student originally from Maidstone in Kent. I previously worked in the corporate world for 10 years and decided to quit my job and follow my dream which is to travel the world and teach English. I am a second year student studying English Language for TEFL. I am passionate about languages though I dont speak any other language fluently I am learning Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin) Spanish, Italian and Korean. I am very happy to answer any questions about life at Bangor, the application process, the English language/Linguistics course and life as a mature student both in applying for university and being a mature student here at Bangor. I'm A PhD student, currently researching nuclear fuel material characteristics. I have completed a BSc, MSc and MScRES in computer science. I have designed a simple CPU at the digital logic level, written a Z80 simulator and an developed X-Ray teaching tool as part of my progress through education. 
I maintain and have worked on a number of open source projects.

Outside of computing, I'm a very regular gym goer, was captain of the canoe club last year (and have been white water kayaking for 8-9 years and hold a number of qualifications) and enjoy climbing. I am also a classically trained pianist and (slowly) produce electronic music with a number of synthesizers.

I'm a very friendly, sociable and approachable individual who has always tried to help other students where needed.

Transitioned to pursuing a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Bangor University with specific interest in Talent Identification and Development .
