Student support
At Nazarene Theological College, we’re committed to making your learning journey as accessible, supported, and empowering as possible. If you have a disability, learning difference, long-term health condition, or mental health difficulty, we’re here to work with you — from your first enquiry through to graduation.
We regularly support students with:
- Dyslexia, dyspraxia, or ADHD
- Mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression
- Autism spectrum conditions
- Sensory impairments (e.g. sight or hearing loss)
- Chronic or long-term health conditions
- Physical or mobility challenges
Support includes:
- Early advice and access planning — starting from the application stage
- Guidance with applying for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA)
- Arranging learning adjustments such as accessible materials or extra time in exams
- Regular check-ins to ensure your support remains effective
- Coordinating specialist equipment or services where funded by DSA
We know that every student’s needs are different. By sharing any support needs as early as possible — ideally before your course begins — we can work with you to put meaningful, personalised arrangements in place.
