Our main Gilmorehill campus is based in the West End of the city, within easy reach of the city centre by public transport or on foot. It’s a compact, campus-style environment with all the benefits of being in a major city. Gilmorehill is home to the majority of our teaching and research facilities and will soon be expanded as part of our £1 billion campus development programme to include a mix of research, teaching and public spaces.

Our Dumfries campus is a rural campus in south-west Scotland with a close-knit student community and proximity to hiking and cycling trails, rivers and lochs, and amazing views from places such as the Criffel on the Solway Coast, The Devil’s Beef Tub in Moffat and Galloway Forest Park. With excellent transport links, the rest of the UK is within easy reach: Glasgow and Edinburgh are less than two hours away, while Carlisle is under an hour.
