King's College LondonFilm StudiesI've always been a creative person, fascinated by storytelling in all its forms—whether through film, photography, design, music, or writing. Growing up in Brazil, I was constantly drawn to the arts, but I also had a deep curiosity for subjects like psychology, neuroscience, and biology, which influence the way I approach filmmaking today. Before starting my undergraduate degree, I completed the International Foundation Programme in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at King’s, which helped me transition into university life while exploring different academic fields. Now, I’m focused on filmmaking, with a particular passion for directing, cinematography, and screenwriting, always exploring the intersection of film with human emotions. I'm passionate about how film can spark feelings, shift perspectives, and bring powerful stories to life, and I hope to one day create projects that resonate with audiences and leave a lasting impact. As an international student, I’ve also had the opportunity to live in Denmark and now in the UK, which has shaped not only my worldview but also my creative approach. Moving to a new country and adapting to a different education system can be both exciting and overwhelming, so I’m happy to share my experiences and offer advice to prospective students who might be going through a similar journey. If you're considering studying Film Studies, starting university, or just curious about life at King’s, feel free to reach out! Sana

University of Wales Trinity Saint DavidFilm & TV (MArts, BA)I came to this degree as a mature student having done a Higher Education access course, and chose to study at UWTSD Swansea because its Film & TV course is ranked the best in Wales. My main creative passion is writing and I intend to use the skills that I develop in this degree to become a screenwriter when I graduate. Georgia

Southampton Solent UniversityBA (Hons) Film and TelevisionHi! I'm Robin, a second-year BA (Hons) Film and Television student. I've had an interest in film for the past five years and wanted to learn more about how it’s made - and see if I could learn to make something myself. After graduation, I would love to get into A24, Blumhouse or Shudder in any role that would allow me to work on an actual horror movie, rather than just watching them. Outside of that, I am a big fan of Dungeons & Dragons. I’ve found a group I’ve been playing with since I got to uni, and I also run Solent’s society for it. I hope I can help you going forward! Tabitha
