Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a debt-free, hands-on pathway to academic and career success.

It offers an alternative route to gaining a university-level qualification while building valuable work experience. It combines employment with part-time study and is ideal for school leavers. Apprentices are in paid employment, receive specialist on-the-job training and complete at least six hours per week of off-the-job learning. There are no tuition fees, as costs are covered by employers and the government—so no student loan is needed. As an apprentice, you earn while you learn, gain practical experience, build your professional networks and strengthen your CV from day one.

We offer higher and degree apprenticeships from Level 4 to Level 7 including undergraduate and postgraduate options in the construction, planning and healthcare sector. Most programmes lead to a professional qualification.
