Arya Nur Gunes

Arya Nur Güneş

Arya Gunes is currently in her third year pursuing a Bachelor's Degree with Honours at the Royal Academy of Music, specialising in classical cello performance. 

She has performed in many concerts and masterclasses around Europe and is a prizewinner in numerous cello competitions. 

Also a first-year Business Administration student in the National Distance Education University of Spain, Arya is a #WeAreInternational Student Ambassador at UKCISA and a member of the Student Minds Neurodivergent Steering Group.

Malcom Kazimil

Malcom Kazimil

Malcom is studying towards a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He's also a sprinter for the university athletics team, competing at the National University Athletics Competition. Malcom has taken part in various LGBTQ events to broaden his understanding of the university community and keeps a journal chronicling all these new experiences.

Malcom is a recognised Changemaker, achieving a ‘Bristol SU 50 Most Influential’ award in 2024. He is Course Rep and Sponsorship Officer, Chief Senior Resident and Accommodation President. He is a co-founder and regular contributor to the Beacons Forever group on LinkedIn and also volunteers with Robo Gals to promote STEM with young girls. 

Malcom’s organisation, The Golden Summer, has 100 volunteer applicants to work on the cancer, school and orphanage projects they have set up.
