Elmira
University of WarwickUndergraduate Politics and International StudiesHi! My name is Elmira, I'm an international student from Ukraine. I dream of becoming a journalist - I love writing and my blogs will definitely be worth reading. I love travelling and exploring new cultures. It is also so much fun when I do it with friends. They know I'm down for any adventure I'm offered! It's so important for me to always be on the move. Georgia
University of WarwickUndergraduate Classics and Ancient HistoryI'm Georgia, a 20 year old Classics student from a small town near Reading! After studying both Latin and Greek in school, I have taken a step back from Ancient languages for my first year at uni to explore different sides to classics. Now due to both my language experience from school and what I have learnt at uni, I feel I can give you an accurate view on what Classics at Warwick is like, and answer any further questions you might have! Additionally, coming from a small town with nothing but a single costa coffee shop, moving to the University of Warwick was a big change in how I began to live my life! I had previous experience in staying away from home and my family before university, therefore i'm always happy to chat about the experiences of moving away from home! One of my biggest fears about coming to uni was that I would not be able to make any friends, as I had previously had struggles with making friends at school, but I immediately hit it off with several of my flatmates, who had similar interests as me thanks to Warwick's accommodation quiz! From there I was able to meet even more friends through my course, and through societies like Mixed Hockey! In short, I have never been happier than I am now at Warwick, and I have really been able to express the real me at university! Feel free to ask me questions about any area of life here at Warwick and I will do my best to help and advise you! Jasmine
University of WarwickUndergraduate Economics, Psychology and Philosophy (EPP)I’m Jasmine, a former IB student now studying EPP! As an international student, I have experienced both the challenges and the excitement of moving abroad for uni. Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, reading, trying new cafes, and creating content on YouTube and TikTok! Olivia
University of WarwickUndergraduate LinguisticsHi! I'm Olivia- a fourth year student at Warwick. I took my A Levels in English Language, Spanish and Drama; subjects I really enjoyed that allowed me to find the perfect degree for my skills and interests. I spent my first and second year at university investing in my degree and finding the specific fields that interested me. I also took on a coordinator role in the Warwick Economics Summit to apply my skills to a new context. I spent my third year at university on a year abroad, spending one semester in Spain and one in Chile. In my fourth year I will write my dissertation and look forward to exploring new extra curricular activities and societies. Priya
University of WarwickUndergraduate Modern LanguagesHi! My name's Priya and I’m a Modern Languages student (French, Spanish, and Italian) at the University of Warwick who’s just completed a Year Abroad and is now in final-year😊. I'm so happy with the degree combination and university that I've chosen, and am happy to answer any questions you might have about studying languages at university, or Warwick in general!
