University of SurreyAdult Nursing with Foundation YearHiya! I'm Cat, a current Adult Nursing student in my second year at the University of Surrey. I am passionate about emergency nursing, general practice and encouraging healthcare students to explore all areas of this versatile career. I got into surrey via clearing after not quite achieving the grades for my original choice. I studied a foundation year and found it unbelievably useful and beneficial for my degree. Feel free to ask any questions you have about nursing, student jobs, accommodation or life as a student here at Surrey! Catrin
Bangor UniversityEnglish LiteratureAfter completing my degree, I hope to continue my studies by applying for a Teacher's Training qualification, enabling me to qualify for secondary school education positions. However, I am also hoping to work abroad for a year before settling down permanently - some counties in mind are South Korea, Italy, Spain...and many more! Catty
Bangor UniversityComputer ScienceHi! I’m Catty and I graduated from Bangor University in 2024 with a undergraduate degree in Computer Science. This year I will be starting my PhD, focusing on "Electric Vehicle Routing for Middle Mile Logistics Operations". I am passionate about addressing climate change, and my research will explore the application of Artificial Intelligence to this problem. University of WestminsterPolitics and International Relations BA HonoursHello! My name is Charlene, a second year Politics & International Relations student. I am originally from Ghana, but I have lived in London for about 5 years now, having done my GCSEs and A Levels here in the UK. I love to read, I love to write and have chill days cuddled up on my bed with a blanket watching Netflix. I love to get involved at uni so I work for the University as a student ambassador and also for the Students Union as a school and course rep. Please note that although I am Ghanaian, I am unfamiliar with the ucas application process from outside the UK since I did my secondary qualifications here in the UK. That being said, happy to chat to you all! Charlie
Bangor UniversityPolicingWhilst studying at Bangor University, I plan on applying to North Wales Police as a Special Constable. The SC has all the same training, equipment and rights as a standard Police Officer however it is voluntary. This will give me invaluable experience into the world and policing alongside my a degree which I love. I go to Fitness First (one of the many local gyms) everyday other than Sunday, I really enjoying working out and found its a great outlet for stress and also improves my physical and mental health, I also follow a strict diet and skincare routine which also helps with the stresses that may arise during University life. When I am not studying or in the gym, my main hobby is Gaming, I play on the desktop computer (SO much better than console!) Charlie
University of Wales Trinity Saint DavidFilm & TV (MArts, BA)I came to this degree as a mature student having done a Higher Education access course, and chose to study at UWTSD Swansea because its Film & TV course is ranked the best in Wales. My main creative passion is writing and I intend to use the skills that I develop in this degree to become a screenwriter when I graduate. Charlotte
Liverpool John Moores UniversityBiomedical Science, MScMy undergraduate degree was in Forensic Science at LJMU and I'm continuing my postgraduate studies in biomedical science. I'm specifically interested in cancer research which I'm pursuing through a summer project at LJMU. Charlotte
University of LincolnAccountancy and Finance - BA (Hons)I have just completed my first year as an Accountancy and Finance student at the University of Lincoln. I took a gap year before starting university in which I worked and travelled, whilst deciding what I wanted my future to look like! After university, I want to either train to be an accountant, or a teacher, possibly in maths, business or my degree area. I joined the University of Lincoln's Athletics society in September 2024, which has allowed me to make new friends, and take part in many social and competitive events. I ran my first 10k race in April 2025 with fellow society members! I live at home and commuted to campus during my first year. I either walked, drove or got the bus to university. Charlotte
Durham UniversityMChem Chemistry (Industrial Project) (F111)Hi everyone! I'm Charlotte, a third year MChem student from Durham University. University of SurreyBusiness Management BSc (Hons)I am a 2nd year Business undergraduate student at the University of Surrey. Alongside my studies, I also work as a part-time student ambassador which have been a great addition to my social life. As a widening participation student myself, I took part in the Summer School and AIM4University programmes at Surrey during my A-levels which aided in my decision about choosing the right course and university for me. Although I am still discovering and immersing myself in every opportunity that my course offers, if you have any further questions about the university, any degree courses at Surrey or just want to have a chat, feel free to message me on UniBuddy. If I do not have an answer to your question, I will be happy to ask students currently studying on your course to help me with providing you with as much information. Chitwan
