University of WarwickUndergraduate Politics and International StudiesHi! My name is Elya, I'm an international student from Ukraine. I dream of becoming a journalist - I love writing and my blogs will definitely be worth reading. I love traveling and exploring new cultures. It is also so much fun when I do it with friends. They know I'm down for any adventure I'm offered! It's so important for me to always be on the move. Georgia
University of WarwickUndergraduate Classics and Ancient HistoryI'm Georgia, a 19 year old Classics student from a small town near Reading! After studying both Latin and Greek in school, I have taken a step back from Ancient languages for my first year at uni to explore different sides to classics. Now due to both my language experience from school and what I have learnt at uni, I feel I can give you an accurate view on what Classics at Warwick is like, and answer any further questions you might have! Additionally, coming from a small town with nothing but a single costa coffee shop, moving to the University of Warwick was a big change in how I began to live my life! I had previous experience in staying away from home and my family before university, therefore i'm always happy to chat about the experiences of moving away from home! One of my biggest fears about coming to uni was that I would not be able to make any friends, as I had previously had struggles with making friends at school, but I immediately hit it off with several of my flatmates, who had similar interests as me thanks to Warwick's accommodation quiz! From there I was able to meet even more friends through my course, and through societies like Mixed Hockey! In short, I have never been happier than I am now at Warwick, and I have really been able to express the real me at university! Feel free to ask me questions about any area of life here at Warwick and I will do my best to help and advise you! Jasmine
University of WarwickUndergraduate Economics, Psychology and Philosophy (EPP)I’m Jasmine, a former IB student now studying EPP! As an international student, I have experienced both the challenges and the excitement of moving abroad for uni. Outside of academics, I enjoy painting, reading, trying new cafes, and creating content on YouTube and TikTok! Ling Shan Hesper
University of WarwickUndergraduate PhilosophyHi! I'm Hesper, a final-year Philosophy with Psychology student here at Warwick. I love learning and researching in philosophy, so I'm hoping to do a research master's after I graduate. When I'm not studying, I have a lot of fun playing basketball with the Warwick Bears (the basketball club). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about my course or student life at Warwick. Maya
University of WarwickUndergraduate Global Sustainable DevelopmentPrior to starting at Warwick, my experience within sustainability came mostly from local-level group participation focusing on climate action within my hometown of Blackpool. While this remains one of my central interests, I am also interested in global action and wider-scale sustainability. Olivia
University of WarwickUndergraduate LinguisticsHi! I'm Olivia- a second year student at Warwick. I took my A Levels in English Language, Spanish and Drama; subjects I really enjoyed that allowed me to find the perfect degree for my skills and interests. In the future, I hope to do lots of travelling and have a fulfilling and rewarding career. Priya
University of WarwickUndergraduate Modern LanguagesHi! My name's Priya and I’m a Modern Languages student (French, Spanish, and Italian) at the University of Warwick who’s just completed a Year Abroad and is now in final-year😊. I'm so happy with the degree combination and university that I've chosen, and am happy to answer any questions you might have about studying languages at university, or Warwick in general! Sabetha
University of WarwickUndergraduate Business StudiesHello, I’m Sabetha, I have been at university for 3 years having done a foundation year as well. I’m here to answer any questions you may have about university. Tanvi
University of WarwickUndergraduate EconomicsHi! I am Tanvi, a penultimate student studying EPAIS. I am interested in applied economics and policymaking. Besides academics, I spend my time reading, going on walks and watching films. Hit me up if you have questions about my (very unique) course, life as an international student or anything else about university! Tomasz
University of WarwickUndergraduate Business StudiesI didn't have much of an idea as to what to do when I first entered university and it can be hard to discover your own path when so many people around you are lauding what they think is the best thing to do. My advice to you all is to try every opportunity that is presented to you. You can drop that which is uninteresting to you, but often you can never again pick up an opportunity that passes you by. Remember that a university degree is not important because of what it teaches you, but because of what kind of person it makes you, so if you ever find yourself debating whether to be a room hermit and do nothing but work or to get out there and make the most of everything available to you, just keep this question in mind: "What will I remember in 10 years' time?" or for the careers orientated amongst you, "What will I be able to talk about in an interview?". Let's face it, your work will probably be uninteresting to employers and to your future self, but if you want to make university something special, there are resources out there that can make it so and I will happily introduce you to them. Personally, I have been around Australia, attended defence conferences in Sicily, done military exercises in Scotland and on the Channel, worked with charities and have done too many extra courses and practical activities too count, all of which precious few people ever know about. If you want to know how to become one of those precious few, please drop me a message any time. Umair
University of WarwickUndergraduate EngineeringHi I'm Umair! I'm on the Electrical and Electronics Engineering course at Warwick and currently on my placement year at JLR. Feel free to ask me about any questions related to university life, societies, engineering, or even places to get free coffee on campus 😉
