I chose to study here at quite the last minute because I changed my mind about what I wanted to pursue and Strathclyde allows me to do joint honours for a combination of subjects which is not offered by most universities. I have been really enjoying my classes so far and I am looking forward to my remaining years ahead at university! I enjoy watching and performing in musical theatre, singing, playing the flute and alto saxophone, I am also teaching myself the clarinet. In the future I want to be an educational psychologist.     I am currently studying towards a PhD in History focusing on food culture as an expression of identity in diaspora communities in the UK. I hope to move in to teaching after that though I am also interested in getting involved in areas of social policy so am keen to see where my project takes me.
