My name is Teresa Mulholland. I live in Carlisle Cumbria. My son Levi Mulholland is hoping to study journalism at the University of Leeds in September this year. I am a widowed parent to two sons aged 18 and 13.I am a traineeship coordinator for Carlisle United Community Sports Trust teaching an employability programme to NEET 16–18-year-olds.

I have been involved in my sons’ journey in choosing his career/passion and university pathways. My son has a passion for journalism and hoping to specialise in music Journalism. Levi and I enjoyed the research it involved in scouring the internet for subject provision and university offers; however, felt we would have enjoyed it even more had we been able to visit the universities in person had it not been for the Covid restrictions. My son choose Leeds University for its great reputation and its location in a vibrant city.
