About the speakers:

Dr Matthew Hall is the Programme Leader for Psychology and Associate Academic at the University of Derby, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has taught on a number of different modules on both BSc and MSc Psychology programmes at Arden University and other HE institutions. As an interdisciplinary scholar he has worked on public, private and not-for-profit research projects. He actively publishes, and his research publications have focused on: men and masculinity; men’s body image; substance misuse for body and cognitive enhancement; disability and sexual desires and preferences; online sexual violences, abuses and violations, and their transnationalisations. He is also an Editor for the Journal of Gender Studies, a consultant for industry, and regularly works with the media.
